Our client, a global independent music company, is seeking a Sync Licencing Admin Manager to work alongside both label and publishing divisions to secure sync opportunities for their writers, artists and catalogues.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Negotiating and issuing lower- value to mid-value sync licences across the UK and European catalogue.
• Securing approvals, negotiating fees, and issuing paperwork and invoices for all synch licencing requests.
• Running the administrative function smoothly with regards to data quality and control, internal systems, and reporting activities.
• Liaising with the international Sync team with rights inquiries, reporting requests and so on.
• Managing reports on a regular basis for licencing activity.
• Implementing strategies and processes to support workflow with the help of international teams.
Requirements:
• Substantial synchronisation licencing experience at a record label/ music publisher/production company/film studio.
• Working knowledge of music clearance and licencing concepts.
• Understanding of copyright concepts as they relate to music recordings, compositions, artwork etc.
• Aptitude handling high volumes of correspondence and project using organisational skills.
• Competency across data entry and analysis using Excel.
• Confident working under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• IT skills that cover Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.
