Our client, an exciting new entertainment communications collective, is seeking a Senior Music Publicist to produce creative music campaigns for their roster of artists.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Orchestrating PR campaigns across the roster, to include global and domestic campaigns.
• Using all mediums for campaigns, to include digital and print media, blog seeding, reviews, interviews, major features, and cover stories etc.
• Implementing effective strategies and conceiving innovative ideas.
• Producing press release copy, and commissioning biographies.
• Providing input and production on artist creative, brand alignments and publicity shot requirements.
• Organising and overseeing photoshoots, and a range of interviews.
• Liaising closely with artist management, record labels, agents and so on, to align PR activity to wider artist campaigns.
• Staying within agreed budgets and timeframes.
• Providing regular reporting on PR activities and strategies, communicating relevant information to artist management.
• Attending gigs and events out of hours.
Requirements:
• Experience working in an entertainment PR agency or at a front-line label.
• Extensive network and contact book with journalists, podcast producers, cultural influencers, creatives, brands, and event organisers.
• In-depth understanding of the current music and cultural landscape.
• Robust knowledge of streaming and social media platforms.
• Adept at working across different time zones.
• Content to work out of normal office hours as necessary.
• Highly organised.
• Capable of sustaining a prioritised workload.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
