Our client, an iconic record label is seeking a Senior Campaign Manager to create  international and domestic marketing campaigns.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Producing and managing innovative content marketing campaigns related to your designated artists, projects and activities.
  • Liaising regularly with artists and their management to discuss any relevant marketing issues.
  • Supplying creative agencies with briefs and selecting the best treatment to meet the spec.
  • Utilizing A&R/Digital/Audience/Press/Promotions/Sales to ensure world class campaigns come to fruition.
  • Providing oversight over pitching, production and delivery of all ad formats, behind the scenes, official interview and promotion ideas.
  • Instigating photo sessions, attending photoshoots, selecting photographers, drafting contracts and distributing contact sheets to team for approval. The same process can include video sessions when appropriate.
  • Obtaining approval from Artist Management and Head of Marketing for the selection of the designers / creatives.
  • Liaising with A&R and producers of domestic roster acts with regards to master delivery, mixes, samplers, label copy, music samples and technical issues relevant to the initiation and marketing of a product.
  • Overseeing all market research activity both on and off-line, liaising with relevant insight teams.
  • Managing the digitisation of visual marketing and advertising assets as far as feasible.
  • Integrating technologies of both creative and business.
  • Publishing weekly marketing updates for the label.
  • Managing relevant artist showcases and events.
  • Coordinating retail-marketing strategy across specialist retails and DSPs globally with the commercial team.
  • Executing the production of artist in store PAs and other promotional activities involving live performances.
  • Operating within agreed budgets, using the computerised budget control system and keeping accurate records of expenditure.
  • Devising with Digital and Streaming teams cohesive campaigns across all campaigns.
  • Collaborating with Head of Marketing and media buying agency in managing every aspect of each campaign media strategy schedule.
  • Maintaining awareness of marketing cost-per-unit and the commercial context of any given album or project.

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience of successfully managing huge global campaigns for pop orientated acts within a label.
  • Solid experience of working at Campaign Manager level.
  • Proven knowledge of charts, trends and artists.
  • Ability to make decisions, working autonomously.
  • Experience managing budgets.
  • Proven ability to contribute to commercially successful and innovative marketing strategies.
  • Excellent relationship-building and relationship management skills.  
  • Tactful and diplomatic manner.  
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Experience assisting photo shoots, including managing budgets, briefs and contracts.
  • Experience of working with and guiding external creative and media buying agencies.  
  • An interest and proven experience of digital marketing.
  • Able to represent the company across inter-disciplinary groups.

   

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience of creating and delivering digital campaigns.
  • Experience assisting with TV advertising campaigns.
  • Excellent contacts with photographers and creative agencies.
