Our client, a global music catalogue business, is seeking a dynamic Product Manager to deliver releases and provide marketing support for a temporary role starting immediately.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing all aspects of product development and marketing to completion.
  • Managing project timelines from assigned roster, managing physical and digital releases to meet deadlines.
  • Coordinating artists’ project around new releases, to include press, advertising, campaigns etc.
  • Capitalising on opportunities by creating products across all formats, digital/physical/streaming using the company’s assets.
  • Creating marketing tools and innovative strategies.
  • Coordinating and creating marketing materials and tools for dissemination to relevant parties.
  • Coordinating assets from repertoire teams, administering market requests for tools and assets.
  • Obtain approval for visuals from both artists and labels.
  • Liaising with creative department and designers on artwork creative.
  • Managing the production of special packaging formats as appropriate, from start to finish.
  • Executing and reviewing marketing plans across territories.
  • Generating and distributing analytical project information to relevant parties.
  • Communicating accurate information regarding release plans, strategy, and developments.
  • Generating best practice using learnings from results to disseminate across the company.
  • Assisting with the evaluation of project opportunities for release.
  • Working extensively with commercial and new business departments to ensure maximal exposure across campaigns.
  • Handling production supply chain and territory queries to ensure release dates are met.
  • Formulating budgets with relevant managers and submitting costed marketing plans for approval, ensuring plans stay within agreed parameters.
  • Overseeing the approval and submittal of all invoices.

Requirements:

  • Experience liaising with labels, managers, and artists.
  • Solid marketing experience within a record company essential.
  • Interest in music, with knowledge of music and market trends.
  • Understanding of new music platforms and how best to capitalise on them commercially.
  • Good understanding of consumer insights and segmentation practices desirable.
  • Strong commercial focus.
  • Good understanding of analytics and insights to inform marketing decisions.
  • Able to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
  • Prepared to travel internationally as needed.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Competency in more than one language desirable.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Experience developing artist plans and strategies desirable.
  • Able to start immediately.
