Our client, a global digital media company, is seeking 9-months temporary cover for a Producer, Original Podcasts within the non-fiction categories that cover factual, wellness, and self-development content.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Maintaining high editorial standards continually.
· Delivering in-house and commissioned productions on time and within budget using project management skills.
· Providing creative input and production support for programming.
· Driving development workflows, providing editorial feedback and producer oversight.
· Managing partner relations.
· Handling compliance issues.
· Aligning activities with Business Affairs, Production, Merchandizing, Content Marketing, and other internal teams as needed.
· Collaborating with internal teams regarding merchandising and marketing strategies, budget development, and promotional campaigns.
· Proactively identifying opportunities within content and generating ideas and formats for new programming.
· Preparing projects for internal greenlight and production.
· Ensuring timely responses to third party enquiries.
· Providing notes and script editing for in-house and third-party pitches, short form, pilots, and long form original projects.
· Making data informed decisions in collaboration with customer insight and business intelligence teams.
Requirements:
· Experience conceiving, scripting, and producing short and long form audio or video content (essential).
· Able to work across wellness, self-development, non-fiction, scripted drama, comedy, and entertainment formats.
· Experience with producing, directing talent in studio, script editing, sound recording, studio techniques, compliance, health and safety, talent liaison, and editorial balance, directing, editing, sound design, stakeholder management, and budgeting (essential).
· Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of audio programming.
· Experience with production and project management experience within radio/music/podcast/film/TV/theatre etc.
· Ability to record, mix, edit and process digital tape is desirable.
· Working knowledge of audio editing software such as Reaper/Adobe Audition/ProTools is desirable.
· Able to apply audience insights, research, and listening data.
· Possess an understanding of digital content services is preferred.
· Excellent organisational skills.
· Possess existing relationships with creatives.
