Our client, a global music company, is seeking a personable PIC Assistant who possesses substantial experience working in a HR setting ideally within the media industry. This is a 12 month maternity cover contract role.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Providing general administrative support to the HR function to include contract drafting, letters, filing, starter contracts, onboarding, Right To Work checks, reports etc.
• Updating all PIC records, charts, and systems with employee data.
• Responding to queries from managers, employees, and candidates.
• Meeting all new starters to explain benefits.
• Managing probationary periods and length of service letters.
• Amending contracts to reflect changes.
• Supporting discipline, grievance, redundancy matters.
• Assisting with maternity requests.
• Assisting with the salary review and bonus payment processes as required.
• Accurately recording absence records.
• Supporting payroll activities to ensure all systems, paperwork, and with all actionable charges.
• Processing payroll leavers.
• Advising on policy and process improvements and PIC administrative processes.
• Collaborating with colleagues and supporting with cover and team projects as required.
Requirements:
• Substantial experience working within a fast-paced HR or PIC department in a similar role.
• Experience working in a large and complex organisation is desirable.
• Experience working within a significant size client group to support.
• Previous knowledge of general HR systems and processes.
• Experience using Workday.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Good communication skills, able to deal with telephone queries, emails, face-to-face requests efficiently.
• Confident working in a fast paced and time pressured environment.
• Strong organisational skills and proven track record meeting deadlines.
• Robust ability to build strong working relationships across various levels of a business.
• IT competency using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Interest in the music industry.
• Possess HR qualifications desirable.
• Experience ideating ways to improve processes is desirable.
