Our client, an artist label services company is seeking a Marketing Manager to work across an exciting roster ranging from HipHop and Afrobeats through to Pop and Electronic

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing marketing plans, initiating, and implementing both digital and physical projects through the marketing lifecycle.
  • Integrating latest developments in the culture, tech and music sphere into marketing strategies.
  • Liaising with Production to ensure releases and their assets are primed.
  • Collaborating with Promotion, Audience and, Digital teams to optimise campaigns.
  • Briefing Sync, Brand Partnerships, Content Production, Sales and, Streaming teams with updates.
  • Liaising with artist management to ensure stock orders are to specification and on time.
  • Collaborating on ticket buys for all projects with the Assistant.
  • Actively managing the professional development of reports.
  • Ensure budgets are adhered to for all projects.
  • Developing creative and innovative campaign moments and strategies with relevant departments.
  • Negotiating creative direction of campaigns with artists and their management.
  • Updating and reporting on all active projects on a weekly basis.
  • Monitoring campaign performance, working with Data Analysts, Streaming and Sales teams.


  • Marketing experience in a front-line label or artist services company essential.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of release and production processes for both physical and digital.
  • Experience of digital marketing and social strategy.
  • Creative skills within digital asset creation.
  • Powerful network of culturally relevant marketing and creative contacts.
  • Proven passion for contemporary culture and UK/UK rap and hip-hop, Afrobeat, pop and electronic music.
  • Highly organised, able to meet deadlines under pressure and with multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
