Marketing & Communications Exectuive

Our client, a renowned music company is seeking a highly articulate Marketing & Communications Executive on a full time,temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Responding to press enquiries and general queries from members and the public.
• Updating company correspondence,including welcome packs, annual sponsorship packages and membership letters.
• Preparing press releases, plans,quotes and speeches as well as invitations and adverts for company events, with support form other team members.
• Creating monthly newsletters, and other bespoke materials to promote the company.
• Collaborating with superiors to generate company strategy.
• Managing the weekly team meetings, communications calendar and editorial schedule.
• Representing the company at external events, and other staff meetings as required.
• Providing support generally to the office and line managers, and in the event of absenteeism.
• Initiating press opportunities and relationships with wider contacts domestically.
• Updating website with relevant content, all social media outlets, and photographs of company events.
• Maintaining databases of press contacts, member details, press cuttings archives.
• Attending meetings with sister organisations on a regular basis.
• Creating new member log-ins and profiles for member’s area of websites.

Requirements

• Competency in Wordpress, CiviCRM, Mailchimp, and key social media platforms is essential.
• First class written communication, evidenced by published work, including blogs and social media.
• Highly organised, capable of managing multiple projects and workloads.
• Knowledge of MS Office suite,(Word, PowerPoint, Outlook is essential).
• Ability to deliver on tight deadlines.
• Adept at videography and DSLR as well as some basic design skills is preferred.
• Existing industry press and PR contacts.
• Previous experience working in the music industry and publishing is preferable.
• Capable of planning and analysing results of campaigns.
• Confident interpersonal skills,able to forge new relationships.
• Passion for music.
