Our Client, a hugely successful front line label is seeking a digitally and culturally savvy Junior Marketing Manager to take ownership of a roster of domestic and international artist campaigns.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Formulating the strategic direction, planning, implementation, and management of a roster artist campaigns.
- Working closely with artists, artists’ managers, and A&R on artist development, as well as with the digital team to drive audience growth.
- Commissioning creative assets and visual content, managing the creative direction bespoke to each campaign.
- Ensuring all artist campaigns stay within budget and are delivered to deadlines.
- Collaborating extensively with both internal and external teams to include A&R, creative, digital, promotions, social, international, sync and brands.
- Participating in the formation of partner marketing strategy, updating, and sharing campaign objectives with the commercial teams.
- Continually researching ways to optimise marketing campaigns and create opportunities for artists.
- Maximising opportunities across D2C, live, brand, sync and other non-traditional label income.
- Fostering relationships with artists, artist managers and the others within the music industry.
Requirements:
- Previous music marketing/campaign experience, ideally within a front line major or independent label.
- Closely follows developments across music, fashion, photography, art and culture and a passion for the alternative/indie music scene.
- Strong understanding of digital, social and streaming trends.
- Very good data proficiency, able to interpret data to make strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
- Ability to deliver on ideas and objectives.
- Outcome orientated with an eye for detail.
- Able to multitask across multiple projects.
- Innovative thinker.
- Hardworking and able to thrive in a team under pressure.
- Highly organised.
