Our client, a global music company, is seeking temporary cover for a Junior eCommerce Manager role to manage artist stores.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Handling day-today operations of artist web store(s) to include store interface, banners, offers, and buy buttons are operational.
• Taking responsibility for eCommerce store builds.
• Overseeing eCommerce store builds using commercial, store management, and merchandising experience to formulate strategies to drive conversions.
• Merchandising store pages using optimisation insights from data analytics.
• Liaising with logistics teams to ensure stores are properly stocked and reported accurately.
• Managing the product and launch schedule for the retail brand.
• Working with label contacts to manage the webstore release schedule.
• Managing key relationships with warehouse team, labels, brand owners, tech teams, ticket agencies etc.
• Working with other teams to generate reports on sales and profitability.
• Liaising with label contacts on ticketing offers for integration with product release schedule.
• Working with US teams with global store management activities.
• Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of eCommerce developments.
Requirements:
• Strong understanding of eCommerce best practice and direct eCommerce management experience.
• Substantial eCommerce management experience to include the CMS/Admin area to run eCommerce store fronts.
• Interest in music and consumer insights regarding product offerings.
• Able to work to deadlines and beyond office hours if needed.
• Passion for music.
• Able to use data to inform commercial decision making.
• Knowledge of Google Analytics or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of SEO, eCommerce pricing strategies, HTML5, CRM, Microsoft excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, project management tools, and CSS is desirable.
• Knowledge of record label, ticketing and live music processes.
• Ecommerce/retail experience to include fulfilment operations.
• Solid presentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to liaise with multiple teams and territories.
• Project management tool experience desirable.
• Experience of ticketing and live music structures and record label processes is preferred.
• Shopify experience is desirable.
