Job Details

Our client, a global music publishing company, is seeking an adept HR Director to provide expert leadership to the HR department.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing effective oversight and management of the HR department and related activities.
  • Supporting leadership with high level human resource strategy, to include recommendations and best practice implementation.
  • Proposing changes to processes or developments that will minimize costs and increase organisational effectiveness.
  • Implementing measures that ensure a positive environment for colleagues to include a team social calendar.
  • Connecting with third parties on areas such as visas, employment contracts, payroll, and benefits.
  • Coordinating department heads and providing advice for the employment function.
  • Planning and executing training and progression plans to meet business needs.
  • Initiating change management as needed.
  • Developing performance management systems.
  • Managing the end-to-end employee life cycle from contract negotiation though to exit.
  • Leading on complex HR matters, such as redundancy, disciplinaries, and absences.
  • Formulating high level company recruitment strategy and planning.
  • Overseeing talent recruitment activities.
  • Ensuring the company’s employee package competes with market data.
  • Preparing the department’s budget and human resource planning.
  • Keeping abreast of employment law changes and making revisions to company policies, as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in HR, business, or related field.
  • Level 7 CIPD qualified.
  • Substantial senior HR experience across multiple areas.
  • Prior experience of working and implementing with People Systems.
  • Thorough understanding of HR activities.
  • Strong cultural awareness, people skills, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of employment law and regulations.
  • Good IT competencies.
