Our client, an international entertainment company, is seeking an HR Coordinator for a generalist role.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Acting as a point of contact for HR queries.
• Drafting and issuing employment letters and contracts.
• Issuing probation paperwork and changes to T&Cs, and tracking end dates etc.
• Maintaining accurate employee filing.
• Onboarding new starters to HR tracking systems.
• Reporting new starters, annual leave, sickness, salary related data etc.
• Processing starters, leavers, changes, and liaising with payroll on queries.
• Staying knowledgeable of UK employment law.
• Collaborating with hiring managers to advertise jobs.
• Coordinating job board postings and recruitment agency briefing where needed.
• Conducting HR induction for new starters.
• Carrying out reference checks.
• Conducting full right to work checks.
• Tracking and reporting employee absences.
• Administering company benefits as needed.
• Coordinating parental leave.
Requirements:
• Previous HR work experience.
• CIPD qualified / Studying or equivalent.
• Experience using HR systems.
• Payroll exposure and knowledge.
• Understanding of UK employment law.
• Capable managing multiple jobs simultaneously.
• Thriving under pressure.
• Competent user of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Understanding of the need for discretion and confidentiality.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Flexible approach.
• Excellent communication skills.
