Our Client, an award-winning audio platform aimed at children, seeks a well-connected Head of Production to take ownership of this senior role within content production.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a team of content creators to deliver outstanding original content.
- Originating innovative ideas and formats for new programming.
- Producing and managing approved productions.
- Liaising with relevant stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Collaborating with high-profile licensors to develop new content around existing IP.
- Negotiating and liaising with production studios and developing a list of preferred partners.
- Developing a strategy for original content that maintains the highest standard of quality and originality.
Requirements:
- Understanding of all aspects of audio programming, combined with production and/or project management experience within industries relating to audio programming.
- Demonstrable interest for children’s media (books, TV, film, music etc).
- Proven experience in conceiving, producing, scripting and mixing long form audio content.
- Possess script editing, sound recording, sound design and studio techniques.
- Experience with talent liaison, directing, editing, and budgeting.
- An extensive network of relationships with writers, agents, producers, directors, sound designers, musicians, rights owners etc.
- Proven development/writing/production/editing skills.
- Impeccable people skills, as well as experience managing and building a team.
