Our client, a global entertainment company is seeking a Head of Learning and Development for a 12-month FTC.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Promoting an inclusive learning and development culture at the business.
  • Creating UK wide human resources strategies and initiatives, with the help of HR team members and Co-Head of L&D.
  • Overseeing the support of business objectives by identifying, designing, delivering, and evaluating bespoke group and individual learning initiatives.
  • Utilising coaching and consultative approaches to deliver impactful initiatives.
  • Actively project manage the L&D team initiatives and goals.
  • Taking responsibility for the training needs analysis and evaluation for all support.
  • Performing reviews and analysis of the business in the context of L&D.
  • Challenging processes where appropriate.
  • Liaising with related departments to manage budget, owning and managing ROI and department/group budgets.
  • Working with co-Head of L&D to drive projects that encompass Wellbeing, Inclusion and Employee Experience.

Requirements:

  • Significant L&D business partnering experience at a senior level essential ideally within the entertainment/media industries.
  • Substantive expertise and L&D acumen.
  • Chartered CIPD qualified (or equivalent).
  • Experienced user of a range of psychometric and other tools preferred.
  • Experience working in a media/music organisation desirable.
  • Confident working in fast paced environments.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Critical thinking and deliberative decision making.
  • Experience with delivering and facilitating cross company development sessions.
  • Ability to build strong trusting relationships with key external and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage high volume tasks with conflicting deadlines.
  • Capable of working with multiple stakeholders at various stages of their people strategy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
