Our client, a leading artist management company renowned for their legendary pop artists, is seeking a General Manager. Serving as the point person for all label related functions, this position also involves handling day-today management of the internal teams. The role offers WFH on Monday and Fridays.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Overseeing artists development, campaign strategy, and team dynamics.
• Collaborating with Artist Managers to allocate resources effectively to projects.
• Providing supervision for high-level execution of artist releases.
• Reviewing stand-out artist campaigns and development strategies to create best practices.
• Overseeing content monetisation across DSPS, release strategies and partnerships.
• Overseeing budgets on artist projects where needed.
• Managing day-to-day operations of the teams that cover Creative, Brand, Digital, Socials, and Label Manager.
• Identifying needs of the team and providing training and mentorship to colleagues where needed.
• Ensuring accountability and career development within a collaborative working environment.
• Supporting with HR needs, recruitments, and employee reviews.
• Ensuring cohesive operations of all business functions.
• Escalating issues where needed.
Requirements:
• Previous senior management experience within the music industry.
• Comprehensive team management skills and leading teams.
• Understanding of artist development, music marketing, and monetisation of channels.
• Strong business acumen and confident working in an entrepreneurial environment.
• Understanding of music distribution, label structures, and digital content ecosystems.
• Label background and marketing know-how.
• Good problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Willing to work in a collaborative environment.
