Our client, an established entertainment management /TV company is seeking a highly organised Digital Media Asset Manager to coordinate the smooth running of digital workflow across the company.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Optimising company master databases and asset systems, while keeping them up to date.
  • Conducting quality control checks on digital masters.
  • Using Media Pulse and Xytech to create metadata profiles for new assets and researching existing ones.
  • Improving library systems with the input of IT teams.
  • Liaising with company Distribution regarding their delivery schedules and format requirements.
  • Managing Library job requests efficiently, and training operations assistants in the event of annual leave.
  • Meeting regularly with Operations Director and Post Production Supervisor to discuss progress and aims.
  • Keeping track of “loans” of media across the company as well as externally.
  • Recalling master tapes and rushes from external storage facilities, as and when required.
  • Recording and authoring DVDs of client appearances and completed shows.
  • Transcoding video and audio files for different platforms.
  • Arranging external digitisation and/or transcoding when unable to in-house.
  • Recording digital file copies of clients’ TV appearances and filing as appropriate.
  • Maintaining content delivery accounts for staff and external users.
  • Using Final Cut Pro to create screeners, show-reels and promotional clips.
  • Maintaining the library recharging system and updating the librarian’s manual;
  • Ordering stock, stationery &Library equipment, as and when required.



  • Experience of working in Media/Entertainment industry in the similar role
  • Great attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent Mac and PC Literacy
  • Microsoft office
  • Familiarity with different video & audio formats
  • Knowledge of Transcoding software (MPEG Streamclip / Compressor)
  • Vimeo and WeTransfer
  • Advanced Final Cut Pro
  • Content delivery platforms and their security settings (Vimeo & WeTransfer)
  • Asset Management systems experience
