Our client, a global music company, is seeking temporary cover for a Deal Entry Specialist in a six-month contract.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring data is accurate within agreements for recording, merchandise, distribution, and licensing.
- Working with Business Affairs and Operations departments to clarify key terms and help answer questions from within the company.
- Entering pertinent data into the rights administration system.
- Clarifying contract language and business practices with attorneys.
- Submitting deals to Business and Legal Affairs department for review, making suggested changes as needed.
Requirements:
- Substantial experience in contract administration or rights management.
- Direct experience interpreting and summarising recording, license agreements, fan club, merchandise, and 360 deals.
- Confident keeping apace of shifting priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent entertainment industry knowledge.
- Interest in music, technology, and business law.
- Familiarity with recorded music and music publishing industries desirable.
