Our client, an iconic record label, is seeking a Content Manager with a passion for music, to join the label’s in house creative team and commission and create content across multiple platforms for a diverse roster of artists.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Generating content ideas that complement the artists’ style.
  • Commissioning both long and short-form content such as visualisers, interviews, teasers etc.
  • Using practical creative skills such as design, videography, and photography to progress content.
  • Collaborating with marketing and audience teams to harvest insights and tailor content to artists.
  • Ensuring content is delivered on time and within agreed budgets, working with the marketing department.
  • Integrating with related teams to integrate brand partners within content pieces.
  • Liaising with agents, production companies, content creators, as well as stylists, make-up teams to curate cutting-edge content.
  • Maintaining focus on the capture of online engagement, using knowledge of internet culture, trends, social media, and gaming platforms.
  • Managing content delivery from external parties such as production houses.
  • Liaising with artist managers.
  • Creating presentations that engage artists and creators alike.
  • Creating detailed budgets, call sheets, schedules, and approving quotes, ensuring suppliers are paid.


  • Detail orientated with a proven understanding of internet culture and an active user of social media and gaming platforms Instagram/TikTok/ YouTube and Twitch.
  • Good understanding of production costs and budgets.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Prior experience as a Content Manager ideally within music.
  • Authentic interest in music across a range of genres.
  • Demonstrable ability to deliver high-impact and varied content and experience managing content delivery.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment, ideally within a creative studio.
  • Good understanding of budgets and realistic deliverables etc.
  • Highly organised.
  • Able to maintain composure.
  • Diplomatic approach to artists and managers etc.
  • Knowledge of software to include video and photo editing, Google sheets, and MS Excel essential.
