Our client, a global music producer & distributor of audio visual music programming is seeking a Catalogue & Commercial Marketing Manager to lead global initiatives across their diverse catalogue for a 9 month contract on a 3 day a week basis.

Key Responsibilities to include:

  • Originating and implement compelling marketing campaigns for international markets.
  • Driving catalogue revenues across all territories.
  • Collating feedback from sales and marketing teams to tailor suitable campaigns.
  • Obtaining Finance and Business Affairs approval for local campaigns’ activations.
  • Dealing with artist management to clarify strategies and obtain approvals.
  • Collaborating with Sales to maximise new catalogue release sell-in and campaign opportunities at retail.
  • Working closely with Commercial Affairs to ensure the optimal fit of each campaign to their markets, to include artist-specific campaigns where possible.
  • Devising strategy that targets maximal markets across an international basis.
  • Managing a balance of projects that are being campaigned at any one time.
  • Project managing new releases on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Creating best practice documents to share with markets.
  • Commissioning marketing assets from creative teams.
  • Where appropriate, developing UK marketing plan to help underpin any partner catalogue or campaign activity.
  • Communicating campaign results and insights to the business regularly.
  • Maintaining a master global campaign diary, sharing regularly with the International marketing team.
  • Supporting any ad hoc opportunities that may arise.
  • Attending relevant company meetings.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally working with audio visual content.
  • Experience of project ownership and working in teams on campaigns.
  • Commercially led mindset.
  • Energetic team player.
  • Fast learner, able to problem solve using own initiative.
  • Highly creative.
  • Digital expertise and capabilities with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable about a wide range of music.
  • Diplomatic approach.
  • Experience of work where attention to detail and accuracy is critical.
  • Highly organised and flexible approach to workload.
  • Motivated to complete all tasks within the role.
