Job Details

Our client, a global media company, is seeking 9-months temporary cover for a Broadcast Support Engineer with the live sports production division.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing day-to-day workflows, working with cross-functional global production and editorial teams.

• Supporting monitoring solutions used by editorial and production teams globally.

• Generating workflows and documentation for global teams with a focus on processes.

• Creating and maintaining technical workflow documentation for the team globally.

• Creating best practice documentation.

• Assessing risks and bottlenecks, and anticipating business needs versus constraints.


• Significant experience working in live production/technical workplaces.

• Authoritative knowledge of video, audio, and image encoding formats and industry best practices.

• Experience building and supporting broadcast hardware and solutions.

• Experience with technical programme management.

• Experience working directly with relevant stakeholders on technical programme management.

• Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and technical workflow.
