
Our client, a leading independent electronic/dance music label and publisher company is seeking an experienced and well-connected A&R Manager.
This is an exceptional opportunity involved with discovering new talent, shaping signings, and supporting a roster of established and emerging electronic artists. The successful candidate will be passionate about dance music, highly organised and confident working within a fast-paced, creative environment.

Key responsibilities include:
• Identifying and signing artists who will drive streaming growth and strengthen the label’s roster.
• Building and nurturing strong relationships with existing and prospective artists.
• Providing creative, detailed A&R feedback to help artists maximise their potential.
• Coordinating writing sessions, collaborations and studio bookings.
• Negotiating headline deal terms with artists and their representatives.
• Contributing to weekly A&R meetings with updates on prospects, negotiations and signings.
• Ensuring all delivery deadlines are met in alignment with internal and external schedules.
• Working with marketing and label teams to align release strategy with wider promotional activity.
• Supporting studio activity by assisting artists and maintaining high operational standards.
• Conducting quality control checks on all deliverables and maintaining accurate administrative records.
Key requirements include:
• It is essential that the successful candidate has experience in A&R within the music industry.
• Authentic passion for dance and electronic music, with strong awareness of the current landscape.
• Established network across artists, producers, managers and industry contacts.
• Excellent creative judgement and understanding of music production is essential.
• Experience negotiating deals and working closely with artists and teams.
• Strong organisational, communication and time-management skills.
• Proactive, detail-focused and able to work autonomously.
• Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of DAWs such as Ableton or Logic is advantageous.
