Responsibilities of role will be to:

  • Assist the A&R coordination Department to set up and monitor admin and budget reporting as well as issuing POs for the budgets and any other payment issues.
  • Manage the day to day logistics of recording projects from organising transport and hotels to equipment hire and finding engineers/ session musicians, as well as issuing consent forms. 
  • Responsible for managing the recording cost budgets and reporting this to A&R and Finance and keeping them informed with any current variances.
  • Operating the software used for POs/agreement budgets/ invoices on a day to day bases to keep current and up to date.
  • Negotiating and drafting Producer deals, remix deals, flat fee agreements and concluding these in a timely manner
  • Managing all incoming and outgoing music files/ formats/ copying/ delivering of current artist and controlling movement in and outside the company
  • Log all the masters to ensure regular return to the tape library and delivery note information and prepare these to be circulated to A&R and Business affairs.
  • Look after and oversee the mastering/ edits/acceptance of final pre-master audio from outside mastering houses to requests from the A&R dept. Liaising with Production dept to keep to mastering deadlines.
  • Responsible for verification of recordings at end of sessions and working with verification companies

Skills and experience require

   Experience within A&R Coordination or within Studio Bookings essential

  • General Office and IT admin experience
  • Organised and punctuational in filling and music software filling.
  • Diary management and booking travel and couriers
  • Microsoft knowledge in Office, Outlook, Excel
  • Great with building and maintaining relationships internally and externally.
