OVERVIEW

Working in a busy Music Agency to maintain and manage first class accounts for our clients Artists.  Working with a turnover of £100m and over 15,000 bank receipts per annum, this is an exciting fast paced role for someone who can work under pressure to strict deadlines and has a keen eye for detail.  You must have experience in payments allocation and bank reconciliation.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for managing the client cash books – including bank reconciliation and expenses and credit card reconciliations
  • Allocating receipts on a daily basis to the bespoke CRM system
  • Inputting receipts and payments in to Sage 200
  • Daily reconciliation of multiple foreign currency bank accounts
  • Identify and deal with any incidences arising with funds received
  • Reporting as and when required on cash performance matters, balances…
  • Keeping up to date with the current WHT/FEU/VAT regulations
  • Monthly analysis of credit card statement
  • Any other ad-hoc duties
  • Provide cover for colleagues when on holiday/sick.

 

SKILLS NEEDED

 

  • Good knowledge of Sage 50 (and Sage 200 if possible)
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to reconcile difficult payments
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • A high level of self-motivation, autonomy and initiative.
  • Team player
  • Excellent communication skills
