This role will encompass both managing and working with different admin/global teams to scope and agree targets for data projects and subsequently prepare and implement them. The ideal candidate must have a broad understanding of European operational copyright processes and a technical, analytical nature as well as proven experience managing teams.

 The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Preparing and loading datasets into the Copyright and Royalty Database, streamlining datasets and data cleanse activities and data analysis and reporting
  • Preparation of copyright data for downstream implementation by the Global Data Services department and/or other team members in European Administration.
  • Responsible for managing the feed of new copyright data from the Production Music licensing websites to the Copyright and Royalty database.
  • Contributing to the technical development of the catalogue import system, alongside the Global Copyright and Global Technology teams.
  • Continually reviewing processes to ensure optimal efficiency and adapt to changing business conditions and processes.
  • Contributing to the ongoing development of the society agreement registration system, alongside Global Copyright and Global Technology.
  • Promoting Data Standards and Governance to their European offices and providing systems and process training to the European offices

 The ideal candidate will be:

  • A team player, and excellent communicator with a proven track record in a senior Copyright role within a rightsholder.
  • An understanding of CWR and Society Agreement registration and familiarity with publishing contracts.
  • High Excel competency and a proven working knowledge of relational databases, report writer tools and data mining.
  • Ability to assess priorities and manage own workload and deadlines effectively.
  • Flexible to travel occasional to European office.
  • Fluency in other European Languages of than English is desired
