Our client, a major booking agency, is looking for a Festival Credit Controller to oversee the receipt and allocation of funds.

The main responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Chasing all festival funds, ensuring all are received in a timely manner, particularly those for priority acts
  • Ensuring CRM system is accurate, and update with agreed payment terms and current tax legislation
  • Liaising with promoters, accountants and assistants to collate all required paperwork and confirm settlements
  • Running weekly funds reporting and promoter-specific overdue funds reporting
  • Updating the Cashbooks team with incoming funds and breakdowns

The successful candidate must have:

  • Experience working for festivals, preferably in an accounting/finance capacity
  • Strong communication skills
  • The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to prioritise and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong Excel skills a must, knowledge of Sage desirable but not essential
