Our client, a major talent management/TV Production company, is looking for an Operations Manager to join their team.

The main responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Managing space utilisation, internal moves and refurbishment projects
  • Overseeing the induction programme for new starters and coordinating with IT to set them up
  • Managing Health and Safety – monitoring compliance, assessing and reporting on issues and coordinating training
  • Maintaining staff holiday and sickness records
  • Managing service contractors and suppliers, maintaining up-to-date contacts and records
  • Coordinating Intranet updates
  • Planning and overseeing production set-ups and shut-downs
  • Managing staff rotas
  • Maintaining the highest standard of office presentation and organisation
  • Supervising Reception, Office Assistants and work experience
  • Assisting HR with recruitment and other processes

The successful candidate must be a mature, discrete and highly numerate individual with:

  • Extensive experience managing staff, HR processes and systems, and Health and Safety. IOSH accreditation desirable
  • Experience with the Production world in a similar role
  • Demonstrable knowledge of tendering process
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Proven ability to take ownership, prioritise and manage time effectively
