Our client, a major global music company, is looking for a Learning & Development Business Partner to formulate strategy and add value to their business.

 

The key duties of this hands-on role will include:

  • Devising and implementing individual and group development plans, programmes and initiatives
  • Creating credible and engaging content for, as well as facilitating and presenting workshops and programmes
  • Partnering with key stakeholders and the HR team
  • Mentoring employees and utilising a coaching approach to conduct ongoing training needs analysis
  • Determining the most effective review process and ensuring all L&D activities are appropriate
  • Building relationships across the organisation as well as with suppliers and partners
  • Dealing with requests and queries and providing development options and support
  • Participating in team discussions and activities
  • Maintaining live updates, calendars, histories and records
  • Making recommendations for development taking the budget into account


The successful candidate will be a proactive, motivated and commercially-minded individual with:

  • Proven experience as a L&D or HR professional designing and delivering solutions gained with a global media/entertainment business
  • The ability to collaborate and work in a team
  • Tertiary qualification – HR/psychology degree preferred
  • CIPD qualification
  • Strong analytical, facilitation and communication skills
  • A flexible and adaptable approach
  • A proven ability to negotiate and develop strong working relationships
  • Time and priority management as well as the ability to work calmly under pressure
