Our client, a leading global music company, is looking for a Merchandise Account Manager to oversee all aspects of product design and development from concept to completion across a number of labels for a 12-month FTC.

The main duties of the role will include:

  • Managing the merchandise product design and development for multiple projects and tours for a roster of artists
  • Liaising directly with artists and their management to create bespoke designs and develop range plans
  • Exploring innovative brand collaborations for the artists
  • Working with designers, sourcing new suppliers and products
  • Sampling and approving products from suppliers
  • Planning budgets, forecasting sales and projections
  • Liaising with internal teams to keep them up to date with campaigns as well as maintaining relationships with global merchandise teams
  • VIP product offering development
  • Identifying new fashion licensing opportunities for artist rights

The successful candidate must have:

  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong working knowledge of the merchandising market, preferably with experience within the music market
  • Experience working with designers and an interest in fashion trends
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Basic accounting skills and experience managing budgets
