Our client, a leading global music company, is looking for a Junior Commercial Analyst to assist with Market and Business Partner intelligence and financial reporting.

The main duties of the role will include:

  • Being responsible for all reporting on behalf of the Digital and Sales teams
  • Conducting performance analysis of current partnerships
  • Delivering commercial analysis using financial and usage data as well as industry and company research
  • Utilising in-depth analysis of market data, patterns and trends to make strategic recommendations on partners
  • Assessing new services and trends using strict P&L criteria
  • Assisting with all financial and usage queries
  • Giving presentations to Business Partners as well as internal teams
  • Querying data using SQL

The successful candidate will be a highly numerate and results-oriented individual with:

  • A degree or equivalent education/experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent IT skills – must be proficient in MS Excel
  • Strong understanding of new media, digital and technology and the ability to clearly communicate the key terminology
  • Familiarity with current issues and trends
  • Good understanding of SQL
  • Proven ability to make rational judgements based off analysis
  • Proven ability to multi-task and work both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Confidence presenting to both small and large groups
