Our client, a top talent management agency, is looking for a Head of Music Partnerships to oversee their global music roster.

The main duties of the role will include:

  • Sourcing, brokering and developing strategic commercial partnerships domestically and internationally
  • Creating bespoke sales presentations supported by market research and audience metrics
  • Sourcing long-term partnerships and developing new prospects for each client
  • Developing and delivering proposals for all music clients
  • Handling inbound briefs and opportunities
  • Liaising with the wider Music Management team
  • Working closely with Insight, Digital Strategy, Content and Creative teams to maximise the impact of presentations and pitches
  • Attending activation days after deals are struck to strengthen relationships, ensure the success of campaigns and drive repeat business
  • Attending key industry and networking events
  • Utilising central CRM and collaborating with the wider Commercial team
  • Developing creative initiatives and new ways of selling to brands

The successful candidate must have:

  • Extensive experience in a fast-paced commercial sales environment, sourcing opportunities for music artists within a music label, music rights holder or music promoter
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • A proven track record of reaching sales targets, successfully securing live/tour sponsorships, music sync campaigns, exclusive gigs for brands and corporate partners, endorsement and licensing campaigns, and advertising campaigns
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
  • Extensive existing network across brands, advertisers and agencies
  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise, monitor progress and track prospects with CRM
  • Solid understanding of digital, streaming, mobile and social markets and their role within music and entertainment
  • A willingness to travel abroad to develop business
