Our client, a leading record label, is looking for a Marketing Manager to deliver lucrative campaigns and strategies for both UK and international music releases.

The main responsibilities of the role will be:

  • Managing consumer marketing plans
  • Making crucial decisions about the label’s investment in artists
  • Managing artist budgets
  • Building sales versus spend models to determine short- and long-term campaigning
  • Devising digital campaigns
  • Executing regular market research programmes
  • Planning multi-platform advertising campaigns
  • Managing the creation of all creative content to support campaigns (e.g. photo and video shoots)
  • Building rapport with artists and artist management
  • Mentoring junior team members
  • Develop ideas for merchandising opportunities

The successful candidate must have:

  • Experience working in the music industry with proven knowledge of charts, trends and artists
  • The ability to identify and nurture artist talent with experience in breaking new acts
  • Proven ability to develop successful marketing strategies and effectively manage budgets
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiating and communication skills
  • The ability to make decisions in a high-stakes environment and take on high-profile projects
  • Experience managing photo shoots, the creation of videos and other creative and digital content
