Our client are a leading London based booking agency and they are looking to recruit General Manager to join their growing team and who will bring the business areas together. This is a newly created role, which will be a key position as the company grows. The post holder will work closely with the company partners in planning, directing and coordinating the operations of the business.

The main tasks and responsibilities of this position are to apply strategic planning to determine company objectives, set employee goals/objectives and maximise staff potential and review staff. You would be evaluating and improving current processes and systems and review performance data to monitor and measure productivity. There is a financial and budgeting skills requirements within this role along with staff hiring, training and supervision.

For this role our client is looking for someone who has solid experience of managing and inspiring a team of people and who has a good overview of the music industry and current market trends. Knowledge of strategic planning and human resource management principles and procedures is a must. You will need to have a career to date that can highlight your basic economic accounting principles, practices and office administration. You will be comfortable working with various software packages.

This role would be a great opportunity for someone who is confident in building relationships and who is a forward thinker, happy to research different ways of working and rolling these ideas out.  You will be strategic, commercial and people minded.
