About us

Since its inception in 1999, we have invested in developing strong relationships within the music and media industries, both with our clients and our candidates. In recruiting for a wide range of businesses including major record companies, independents, booking agents, publishing houses, studios, management and promotions agencies, our agency has performed consistently for all our clients for over 15 years.

In response to increasing demand for our services from a wider client base, Arts and Media was created to provide the same standard of service for Film Companies, TV Broadcasters, Media Groups, Advertising Agencies, Publishers, Digital and Mobile Companies.

We have proved time and time again that we are able to place the right staff with the right experience into the right jobs at every level from Managing Directors to temporary Receptionists, successfully adapting to the changing needs of the businesses we serve and varying economic climates.

The Music Market/Arts & Media advertise weekly in appropriate publications (eg, Music Week, The Guardian) and through our Website, which is updated regularly. We also actively search for the experienced candidates.

We are able to discuss any requirements you may have at any time by telephone from 8.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday or via our emergency out of hours mobile number. Meetings in person can be arranged at 24 hours notice and we actively encourage regular contact in person with Human Resources and Line Managers to ensure we are accurately attuned to your company culture and recruitment needs.

Helen Ward (MD and Consultant) oversees our Head Hunting Division. Helen offers a unique service, utilising her 28 years experience in the business by researching and targeting individuals with particular skills and experience in music/media industries, based on criteria supplied by the client, recruiting for any positions of a sensitive/political nature that cannot, for whatever reason, be publicised. All briefs are fulfilled using the utmost tact, discretion and confidentiality. When using our Head Hunting service, we advise a meeting in person to discuss the brief in detail.
